After I made the first and second blocks, my quilt asked if I wouldn't mind adding in a little eggplant fabric. To make my quilt happy, I featured it in this block. My quilt and I both like it!
I frequently teach quilting in suburban Chicago. When I was in Naperville last summer, I discovered a Chicago area gem -- Portillo's! Why did it take me so long to find out about Portillo's? And where can I get a chocolate cake milkshake in New York?
